CitiBake – Thumbs Down
I just walked past a new bakery (well, I’d never seen it before, but it’d been there for 8 weeks) near my office and was excited by this new prospect.  It sits on King Street, large and empty but I didn’t let this perturb me. So in I walked and was greeted [...]

A few of my mates and I were discussing the cost of food and how we tend to veer towards Asian cuisine for a good quality, bang for your buck work lunch. Then came up the topic of Pasta and the pricing of pasta in general. An Italian in our group had little light to [...]

Not So Peaceful Rally?
Unfortunately [...]

In response to this here
A bit like a spew burp, our new Police Commissioner Simon Overland has spoken and I can only assume it’s a foul taste of things to come. His suggestion,  to tigthen liquor licence laws to help control the drinking culture and problem with alcohol our state faces. I agree, alcohol probably is [...]

In the wake of the worst natural disaster in Australia’s history, all survivors can do is to try and keep themselves and their families a float before they can consider rebuilding their lives. Many of these peoples are finding refuge wherever they can such as in the tent accomodation organised by the army. What they can’t do, [...]

Victoria’s fire tragedy has made me think about past tragedies such as Ash Wednesday in 1983 which had a death toll of 75 people in both Victoria and South Australia. Right now, they anticipate the death toll to exceed 200 people in Victoria’s weekend tragedy. I don’t recall Ash Wednesday much myself, but my older [...]
