Turnbull Slams Rudd For Meal Hissy Fit
Apr 22nd, 2009 by squizzmaster
We’re all aware of Rudd doing a terrific job appealing to the sensiblities of the Australian public. After the incident that occurred a couple of weeks ago on a flight where Kevin apparently had a hissy fit over not receiving the food he wanted, Turnbull is taking the opportunity to slam him for his onflight meals in general. Let’s re-visit the incident.
Sandwiches?? The HELL!!?
To me, it sounds fairly reasonable given all they had to offer were sandwiches. If I were prime minister I would be pretty upset if I’d just come from my G20 trip, was absolutely starving and they couldn’t even whip up a decent meal. Not even some roast beef for my sandwich.
Sandwiches vs The Economy
“I think the prime minister’s got his priorities wrong on the aeroplane as well as he has on the economy.”
Because they’re EXACTLY the same. What should his priorities be on the plane anyway, inflight movies? Man’s gotta eat.
Prime Minister’s Entitled To A Hissy Fit
If you’re going to run the country, you’re entitled to be satisfactorily nourished. You’re also entitled to crack the sh!ts now and then. People are reduced to tears everyday, we don’t know anything about the flight attendant, she could very well be a little on the fragile side, on the verge of tears in general. A bit unprofessional, I would consider firing her.
