Ebay Crook Rips Off Hundreds
Jul 29th, 2008 by squizzmaster
This guys ebay business (one of the biggest) goes bust so now there’s a tonne of people who’ve paid for furniture, musical intruments among other things out of pocket. If I was one of them I would be so insanely p!ssed off, and they are.
Latest Feedback
Here is the latest feedback ebusiness_supplies has received from furious customers. This has to be a record high on ebay for negative feedback. Lots of descriptive language used to describe the seller, Fs, Cs and Aholes.
Ebay and Paypal Happy
“Those who paid for items using PayPal, which is owned by eBay, will be entitled to refunds through a new fund set up specifically to deal with this incident, PayPal managing director Andrew Pipolo said.”
Nice little way for Ebay to say a big “F#ck You” to all those who didn’t use Ebays own system (Paypal). An opportune moment after they failed so hard to have Paypal implemented as the sole method of payment.

Robert Vandermeer, who represents a coalition of eBay sellers, said PayPal only set up the special fund to reimburse buyers who lost their PayPal payments so it would not be legally liable for negligence.
“We will now have our lawyers look at the legality of the EBS listings and eBay’s actions and inactions since then to explore the potential for a class action for sellers who used other than PayPal to pay EBS,” he said.
“There’s a growing case for negligence against eBay - this happened before their wide-open eyes.”
