Be Healthy, Happy And Stoned

I’m a firm believer in a holistic approach to weed and our ability to appreciate it to its full extent. If your body and mind are healthy, you are far better placed to enjoy your weed and manage your use of it responsibly. I’ve Yo-Yo’d a number of times in the past in terms of my fitness and experienced a blatant difference in my enjoyment of weed which is far more enjoyably when I’m in peak condition.
- More muscle, less fat and better cardio means I am stronger, more active and have way more energy. I can bounce around and interact more and the session is a lot more fulfilling and satisfying.
- When I’m healthier I’m more alert and my senses are sharp like wolf! When my senses are sharper I’m more aware of my surroundings and when you’re stoned, being more in tune with your surroundings means you can trip out a lot more with your heightened senses and more responsive brain.
- It’s true what they say about being fit and looking and feeling better. When you smoke up your mind is in a really good state to enjoy the smoke knowing that your body and mind are strong. Perfect psychological condition for smoking.
- I’ve even smoked not too long after exercise including cycling and weights with excellent results. Take care though; it’s probably not a good idea to smoke immediately after doing a set or a 20km ride. Also, you should smoke less after exercise when your blood is pumping around your body nicely (staying in line with my “less is more” principle).
- Being hydrated is ALWAYS important and an underrated health requirement. Amongst many other benefits staying hydrated keeps your mind more alert and clear so that your high is more bright and happy. I’ve always pulled up beautifully after a session when staying properly hydrated and felt better throughout the session. Of course it’s even more important in summer and after exercise to be super conscious about water intake. It also helps to balance out the munchies we may end up eating during a session as water is crucial for waste elimination.
