Manage Your Life And Marijuana/Weed

For many of us, the stereotype of the “stoner” is often funny, but also a misconception of people who engage in the recreational use of marijuana. In fact, the stereotype often includes values that are somewhat undesirable and unfortunately, it is easy to fall into little traps that turn stereotypes into a reality.
Negative Stereotype values:
Unemployed and in trouble
- Minimize the amount of time you spend smoking if you are unemployed. If anything, don’t smoke on weeknights. If you are capable and must, get a job!
Unsociable/detached
- Smoke at LEAST double the amount of time with other people then you smoke by yourself. This doesn’t mean if you have smoked a lot by yourself you have to quickly smoke with others to catch up. It means, try not to smoke too much by yourself. Use your time by yourself to get things done. Oh. And don’t just catch up with your friends to smoke.
Vegetative
- Smoke in moderation, enough so that you are capable of interacting with your friends on some level, even if that level just involves laughter or running around in a manageable panic
Depressed, Moody, Lacking motivation
- Do not smoke when you are unhappy or depressed unless you are the kind who can easily turn Unhappiness into laughter and promptly get over it
- If you are not happy with your life or yourself, marijuana can make you spiral even further
- Take a break. Unbalanced THC levels in your brain is a bad thing and when you start to get moody and feel bad about things you normally wouldn’t, it’s time to take a break or smoke less. Don’t ever let your relationships suffer.
- Maintain a healthy amount of activities and engagements that don’t involve marijuana use
- If you are finding you are smoking to relax all the time, take a step back. You shuld only be smoking weed for recreational purposes, not to escape reality, to forget about your day or as self medication
Irresponsible
- Stay on top of everything, including your finances, relationships and whatever else is important. Then whenever you’re smoking marijuana you’ll be smoking it with a clear mind and conscience, free of anxiety.
Overall, smoking in the right environment and around the correct people with the same healthy mindset is crucial to having great session after session.
